5 Ways to Market Your Fundraiser

Promoting your fundraiser will help capture additional sales in fun and easy ways. Follow these five simple ways from Little Caesars® Pizza Kit Fundraising Program to market your fundraiser and maximize your sales.

1.       Share on Social. Did you know the average person spends 16 minutes of every hour they are online on social media sites? Be sure to market your fundraiser where so many people spend their time. Social media is a great place to promote and share information about your fundraiser and help you reach a larger audience quickly and easily. Post on Facebook, Twitter and Google+. Share a picture of your group for added interest. Share a great picture of the pizzas along with your group on Pinterest or Instagram. For all your social media posts, be sure to include the fundraiser information as well as how to purchase or contact you. With just a couple of posts, you can reach a lot of potential buyers.

2.       Email your Contacts. For a more personal approach, while still leveraging electronic media, emails are a great way to promote your fundraiser. You can customize your message depending on the individual and relationship. Emails provide greater certainty your contact received the message plus it is a personal ask, which is proven to have the highest success rate, but it is still helps you make several requests quickly.

3.       Poster the Town. Take advantage of the free Little Caesars Pizza Kit posters you receive by signing up for a fundraiser. Place them in your local grocery stores, hardware stores, coffee shops, schools, libraries, churches and wherever else is a hot spot in your town.

4.       Call your Friends and Family. Picking up the phone and calling friends and family is a great way to gain support for your fundraiser. A majority of the participation we see from most fundraisers comes from close relatives and acquaintances. If you take advantage of tip number two, be sure to follow up by phone for any of your contacts that you have phone numbers for. You may see your success rate jump!

5.       Get Creative. If you have a unique idea to spread the word on your fundraiser, go for it. Whether you create a special Facebook group, host an event or pep rally to introduce friends and family to your cause or design creative notes to hand out during games, school meetings, at church or at other venues where those who care about your cause gather, these ideas will have Big! Big! success.

As a bonus tip, remember to always have fun while marketing your fundraiser. Let your enthusiasm and passion shine through and watch your fundraising success soar.  Let Little Caesar Pizza Kit help plan your next fundraiser and see how easy, simple and delicious it can be.
